Attorney Nihat Paksoy

Nihat Paksoy was born in 1960 in Kahramanmaraş. He enrolled at Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1980 and graduated successfully in 1984. Following his graduation, he completed his military service between 1985–1987.

After military service, he practiced as an attorney between 1987–1994. In 1994, he transitioned to public service by entering the judiciary; after serving as a prosecutor for two years, he was appointed as a judge in 1996.

From 1996 to May 2011, he served as a criminal court judge in various locations across Turkey. He retired from the judiciary in May 2011.

Following his retirement, he served as a notary public in different regions of Turkey between 2011–2025, retiring from notary service on June 8, 2025.

In October 2025, Nihat Paksoy returned to the legal profession, continuing to provide legal services in Istanbul Bahçeşehir with 40 years of knowledge, experience and judicial expertise.
